The 2020 World Wide Technology Raceway Championship E.T. Bracket Series consist of 6 events.  A racer’s best 5 of 6 events will count towards the 2020 Championship.

^The 2020 King of the Track will feature a match-up of winners from August 22, 2020 in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman and Pro Motorcycle King of the Track eliminations will be contested as 1/8 mile without Complulink Cross-Talk. 
+The top eight racers in the final point standings in each class will be eligible to compete for the Arch title.  The top eight in points in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman and Motorcycle will face off in a Chicago-Style Runoff to be named King of the Arch and receive a special-edition trophy produced exclusively for this event.

Please refer to 2020 NHRA Summit Racing Series Division 3 E.T. Finals Bracket Rules for class specifications and safety requirements.  In addition, the NHRA 2020 rulebook will be adhered to in conducting our event. Championships will be presented for the following classes:
Super Pro * (3.66 – 7.75) – 1/8 mile LINK TO POINTS
Pro (5.40 – 8.99) – 1/8 mile LINK TO POINTS
Sportsman (12.00 – 19.99) – ¼ mile LINK TO POINTS
Super Pro Bike (7.50 – 15.99) – ¼ mile LINK TO POINTS
High School+ (12.00 and up) – ¼ Mile LINK TO POINTS
Test & Tune^ (non-points) 3 Run Punch Card – ¼ Mile
*Please note that Super Pro has a quicker dial-in allowance than the 4.30-7.75 that will be contested at ET Finals. However, drivers must meet license, safety and chassis requirements in order to run quicker than 4.30.

^New for 2020, Test and Tune offered on bracket days.  Will be a 3 run punch card for $50 Will run in rotation until the quarter finals of all classes, should be able to get your 3 runs easily.  May purchase additional runs for $25.
As part of the Restore Illinois plan, social distancing will be observed. We will have special event guidelines in place to adhere to Illinois Motorsports Coalition policies during this event. In addition, it is recommended that all participants pre-purchase their race entry into the venue (via the Pit Pay app). Crew members who need restricted access should purchase their credentials via Pit Pay app. Crew members or spectators who do not require restricted access may purchase in advance via MetroTix. Pit Pay passes will go on sale the Monday before the event.
Priority access will be given to racers who purchase through the Pit Pay app as their racer gates will open 30 minutes prior to on-site purchasers. In addition, an express lane will be open all evening for faster access into the venue. Bonus Time Trial will be given to those who use the Pit Pay app and have a valid ETI.

Team World Wide Technology Raceway for the 2020 E.T. Finals will be comprised of 32 total vehicles from our World Wide Technology Raceway Championship events (listed above) and 2 High School participants.  Per NHRA D3 Rules (see www.nhradiv3.com for latest details on qualification due to COVID-19): Qualified drivers must have participated in a minimum of three (3) track point events and be listed on the track’s roster prior to the gates opening for the event. Only racers who have signed up for points membership and have competed in Carl’s 4WD Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman and Super Pro Bike will be eligible for competition at the 2020 Summit E.T. Racing Series NHRA Division 3 Finals in TBD. New from NHRA Division 3 this year, Participants are permitted to run the same vehicle in up to two categories during the event.  Vehicles cannot be used by more than one participant during the event. 

    • You MUST compete in a minimum of THREE (3) point’s races to qualify for the D-3 Summit Racing Finals.
      • This is an NHRA Division 3 Rule, not World Wide Technology Raceway.
    • The NHRA Summit Bracket Finals will be held TBD
    • Drivers competing at NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events including the NHRA Summit Racing Series National Championships will be required to be 16 years of age or older.
    • You MUST sign up for Team World Wide Technology Raceway ($60 Points Program) to be eligible to go to Norwalk. If you do NOT sign up for the points program, you will not be allowed to represent World Wide Technology Raceway at the ET Finals.

NEW FOR 2020 Highlights:

  • Contingency Connection is BACK for 2020!  We are taking Hindsight is 2020 to a new level for you racers bringing back the ever popular Contingency Connection Program.  Winners of Super Pro, Pro, and Sportsman in each race will receive several thousand dollar contingency package for each race win!!! NOTE: must be signed up for points to be eligible for Contingency Package.
  • All points entrants will receive free Friday ticket to the NHRA Midwest Nationals, post race awards BBQ and a free t-shirt along with other benefits. 

Points Program Overview:

  • Drivers competing in multiple classes must have each class listed on their car.  
  • Drivers entering in multiple classes are solely responsible for quickly returning to the lanes between rounds of competition.  All classes will be based on 10 minute turn-around rule.  
  • All drivers and cars must meet minimum NHRA competition guidelines.  Please refer to the 2020 NHRA rulebook. 
  • Point registration must be purchased before points will be credited.  Point Membership registration fee is $60 per year, per class and includes NHRA –or- track number registration.  MUST be signed up for points prior to Round 1 of competition to be eligible for Contingency. 
  • ALL competitors who compete in a Carl’s 4WD event will have their points tracked, however, to receive points and be eligible for Indy, the $60 Points Membership MUST be purchased.  You will only receive the points for races AFTER you sign up for Points Membership, they will NOT go retro-active.
  • Please refer to www.wwtraceway.com and monthly e-mail update for schedule information as they will change based on event schedule/special features. 
  • Track reserves right to add special bracket eliminators at all events based on show content, time constraints and weather.  Our main priority will be for the championship point classes. 
  • World Wide Technology Raceway will utilize Compulink TruSTART for all classes in the 2020 Points Series.  A special description of True-Start will be posted in the racer’s tab of www.wwtraceway.com
  • All items are subject to change at the discretion of the event director. All decisions by the event director are final. 
  • In the event of a tie in the final standings, a tie-breaker will be used to determine final finish. Tie-breakers are outlined in the racer handbook posted on www.wwtraceway.com
