Sunday afternoon race will be televised live on NBC
September 27, 2022, St. Louis – Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 27, 2023. That’s when the cars and stars of the Indianapolis 500 will return to World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois, for the annual Bommarito Automotive Group 500 presented by Axalta and Valvoline.
The NTT INDYCAR SERIES today released its 2023 schedule. WWTR’s INDYCAR race will switch from a Saturday-night event to a Sunday afternoon contest, which will create new challenges for race teams.
Once again, the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 is the final oval track race on the schedule and is a crucial contest for all championship points-chasers. The festive open-wheel racing weekend includes the USAC Silver Crown Series, Indy Lights, and Vintage Indy racing, concerts and many fan activities.
The 2023 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season begins on March 5 and concludes on September 10.
