2024 Media, Photo Credential Requests

Updated: January 1, 2024

NASCAR and INDYCAR credentials:

World Wide Technology Raceway grants media and photographer credentials to individuals on assignment from recognized media outlets. All applications will be screened. All requests must be received at least 14 days in advance of event to be considered. For the Enjoy Illinois 300 NASCAR Weekend, photographers and journalists may be required to apply to NASCAR for an additional pass to access restricted areas.

PLEASE NOTE:

*Even if you possess a “hard card” issued by a sanctioning body, please contact us to make arrangements for a reserved seat, parking pass, or other accommodations.

*Even if you are an INDYCAR-licensed photographer, please request credentials so that we may reserve a seat for you.

*Infield media parking will be limited due to garage area and fan walk expansion. All media members will receive parking passes, but it may not include infield parking.

All requests must go through the credential site and email and written requests will no longer be accepted.

Seating: Reserved seating in the infield media center is limited and will be issued by priority and available space. (WWTR does not have a press box at this time.) Reserved seats are not guaranteed unless specified by the Director of Media Relations. Working media credentials will not be issued to employees of marketing companies, promotions, sales, advertising, public relations, etc.

Credentials and parking passes for NASCAR and INDYCAR events may be picked up at the Credentials Building at the golf course. Location, days and hours of operation will be posted.

IMPORTANT: If you request media credentials and do not pick them up, you may be refused media access in the future. If you requested credentials and are unable to attend the event for any reason, please contact WWTR. This will release your seat in the media center to another media member and keep you in good standing with the track.

Limits may be imposed on media outlets requesting more than one credential.

Since space is limited in our media center, we may not be able to offer reserved seats for team public relations personnel, especially at our NASCAR Cup and INDYCAR events.

PHOTOGRAPHERS

We are unable to grant credentials to freelance photographers (or hobbyists) who are not on assignment from a recognized media outlet.

Photo vest requests for NASCAR and INDYCAR events at WWTR are forwarded to the appropriate sanctioning body for evaluation and approval. The decision of the sanctioning body’s Communications Department is final.

You must attend at least one of the scheduled and posted photo meetings to obtain a photo vest. No exceptions. NASCAR photo meetings are held online. To join: jbramley@nascar.com
