Participants are also welcome to run Super Pro, but MUST buy Super Pro Tech Card PRIOR to Round 1 of Eliminations.
Format: Q16 will be contested on Saturday ONLY of bracket weekends. There will be 2 qualifying attempts (weather permitting). Racers permitted to double enter between Super Pro and Q16 (see below). 1/8th Mile format, TRUstart will be used. .500 Full Tree. ALL NHRA Safety rules apply based on the speed you are running. ANYTHING under 4.50 must meet TD/TS requirements. Max dial in for class is 4.99
Rules: This will be run in conjunction with Super Pro, but separate in the run order. Quick 16 will be contested first in the run order.
Racers that purchase both a Super Pro and Quick 16 tech card prior to the start of eliminations and win do not have to run a round of Super Pro until they lose. And, the racer will collect round points for Super Pro as if they ran that round of Super Pro. However, once a racer loses, and has purchased a Super Pro Tech card, must HOT LAP back around to run the same round of Super Pro to attempt to advance. The overall Q16 winner (if purchased a Super Pro entry) will advance to Round 5 of Super Pro.
- If the racer wins 1st round Quick 16, the racer does not have to run round 1 (one) of Super Pro
- If the racer loses round 1 of Quick 16, the racer MUST run round 1 (one) of Super Pro
- If the racer wins 2nd round Quick 16, the racer does not have to run round 2 (two) of Super Pro, ETC
* If the racer loses round 2 of Quick 16, the racer MUST run round 2 (two) of Super Pro, ETC.
Racers that purchase ONLY a Quick 16 tech card
- If racer loses round 1 of Quick 16, and wishes to compete in Super Pro, racer must purchase a Super Pro Tech Card and then can run round 1 (one) of Super Pro.
- If the racer loses round 2 of Quick 16, and wishes to compete in Super Pro, racer must purchase a Super Pro Tech Card and purchase a buy back entry then run round 2 (two) of Super Pro.
- If the racer loses round 3 of Quick 16, and wishes to compete in Super Pro, racer may NOT compete in Super Pro, because buy backs are NO longer offered.
