February 2, 2023, St. Louis – World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois, will open its 2023 season of bracket racing on Saturday, April 1. The 2023 Carl’s 4WD & Performance Center Drag Racing Series season will consist of 11 events for Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Willis Racing Pro Motorcycle, Jr. Dragster Thunder and Jr. Dragster Lightning classes from April 1 to September 3.

The series’ 2022 champions will be honored at WWTR’s annual drag strip banquet on Saturday, February 4. Defending champions include Dennis Pearson (Super Pro), Jon Tignor (Pro), Craig Powell (Sportsman), DeAndre Lewis (Motorcycle), Cayden Duell (Jr. Dragster Thunder) and Cohen Hale (Jr. Dragster Lightning).
