Work in motorsports during a historical season at World Wide Technology Raceway
MADISON, Ill. (Feb. 20, 2025) – World Wide Technology Raceway will host two job fairs set on Feb. 26, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and March 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Infield Media Center as they seek individuals to fill numerous positions for the 2025 season.
The St. Louis Metro East based multi-purpose facility hosts some of the biggest motorsport events in the St. Louis region, such as NASCAR, INDYCAR and NHRA, which provides employees with a unique work experience. With these large-scale events, and at-capacity crowds, WWT Raceway employees play a crucial part in giving fans the most memorable and safest experience possible.
The 2025 season serves as a historic milestone for WWT Raceway as they host their first ever NASCAR Cup Series playoff race with the Enjoy Illinois 300 serving as the second stop in the 10-race Cup Series playoffs on Sept. 7, 2025. History will also be made on the drag strip as WWT Raceway will host two NHRA divisional championship events from two geographical regions in the same season, which will make WWT Raceway the first venue to do so.
How it Works
The infield media center, located inside the oval track, will be set up based on the various departments that are in search for new employees. Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with their interested department, ask questions and fill out an application. Some of the departments include ticketing, operations, Gateway Kartplex, Top Speed Concessions and drag crew.
Pre-registration is not required, and applications will be available at the event, however, applications can also be found on the WWT Raceway website. Bring copies of your resume, a valid form of identification and a pen, as items may be limited. Drag Crew
Racing does not only live on the 1.25-mile oval at WWT Raceway. WWT Raceway’s quarter mile drag strip provides fans with over 70 days of drag racing throughout the 2025 season. Events such as the NHRA Midwest Nationals, the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Division 3 competition and now NHRA’s West Central Division (Division 5) inhabit the pavement throughout the year. As a member of the drag crew, you will experience first-hand the burning rubber and adrenaline rush due to the working proximity to these high-powered machines.

Maintenance
For WWT Raceway to stay in its top condition, the maintenance department works frequently to provide fans with an enjoyable experience.
