Weekend Activities: May 17-19

Tonight is Raken Technical College Midnight Madness fueled by NOS.  Racers arriving for our Carl’s 4 Wheel Drive & Performance Center bracket program or the Mopar Blast event are asked not to arrive until after 8pm.  Stacking will take place in gravel lot on West Road. We are not policing the stacked line.  Please follow suit and get in line.  At approximately 10:30pm or when we believe we have room in the special event lot to start parking for the weekend, we will come get you.

If you arrive after the gates are closed (midnight), as long as you and everyone in the vehicle purchased on Pit Pay and have your code to be scanned, you will be permitted to enter and park for the evening; otherwise, you will have to stack until the next morning.  When the gates open at 7am Saturday anyone that came in showing their QR codes must come back to the gates to receive your credentials.

In addition to running a drag race we are hosting the CAR-ing for Veterans Car show.  We ask for your cooperation when parking and please respect the blocked off areas and the signage we have up.  There will be an area on the east side of the lot, reserved for spectator parking.  We know many of our junior folks like to park there, please pit on the west side of the cones and not encroach on the east side of the cones.  The fenced in area north of the east side grandstands, we call the “wedge” where are motorcycle racers typically pit, will be reserved for the car show. The Mopar swap meet will be behind the fenced area where our premium grandstands, Nitro 1, are located next to the drag tower.  Please do not block the entrance.  All parking will be located in the special events lot.  We will not be parking racers behind the oval front stretch grandstands at this event.

Beginning at noon until 9pm in our Pavillon, the CAR-in For Veterans Car show will be hosting various bands.  When not racing, stop over enjoy the bands and support the car show.
