UPDATE ON THIS WEEKENDS EVENTS

As everyone is aware, this weekend’s weather is not favorable for racing.  Parts of southern Missouri and Illinois and areas where many of our racers will be traveling from are forecasted to receive between 3 to 6 inches of rain or more.  Therefore, this weekend’s dragstrip activities have been cancelled. 

We know racers are eager to get on the track.  Being it is early in the season, and we have the availability in our schedule, we are going to have a test ‘n tune next Friday April 11.

On Saturday April 12, we will run the Carl’s 4 WD & Performance Center bracket race #1 in lieu of the test ‘n tune.  However, we will offer a test ‘n tune tech card to those who only want to test.  Anyone who has purchased a race entry, will not be permitted to purchase a test ‘n tune tech card.  The Ranken Technical College High School class will also be contested on Saturday for this event only. 

Bracket race #2 will not be rescheduled as we have Import Face-Off on Sunday April 13.

Racers who need to stay overnight on Saturday, may do so, but will need to be out at 6:00 a.m. as Import Face-Off event starts set up at 6:30 a.m.  

The Saturday evening practice tree race will not take place during this event.

Oakley Motorsports Super Quick Series is postponed, and we are working to find a make-up date and will announce when finalized.

All Pit Pay passes will be automatically transferred to next Friday and Saturday.  Anyone who purchased Sunday’s Race #2 entry will be transferred to Sunday Race #4 (April 27). 

The schedule will be as follows. 

Friday: April 11 – Test ‘n Tune

                  Stacking 3:00 p.m.

                  Gates                                       4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

                  Track                                        5:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

To park overnight, racers must register their race entry and crew members must purchase their entry on Pit Pay and show the overnight gate guard.

Saturday:  Reschedule Bracket Race #1

                  Gates open                        7:00 a.m.

                  (2) Time Trials                   9:00 a.m.

                  Eliminations                      To follow time trials

Jr Dragster (Thunder, Lightning), Pro, Marine Coin Company Jr Street, Ranken Technical College High School, Commercial Safe & Lock Super Pro Bike, Super Pro, VP Racing Lubricants Sportsman, Test ‘n Tune
