In his words: “I raced at the old Gateway track years ago and stopped to raise a family. I got back into racing in 2009 when my son started racing. My son won the Sportsman track championship in 2012.
“When I started racing again, I drove a 1971 Ford Ranchero — then switched to a 1972 Ford Mustang and it won me the Sportsman championship in 2017.
“My wife comes with me to every race. She is my back seat driver, does my paperwork and tells me what the car is going to run. I like hanging out with all my friends and racing family at the track.”
