Last Updated on July 2, 2025 by WWTR

MADISON, Ill. (June 30, 2025) – The Fourth of July weekend Carl’s 4WD & Performance Center Bracket Series races just got more competitive at World Wide Technology Raceway. The prestigious NHRA will be given out to the winners of each WWT Raceway class on Saturday.

The weekend kicks off when gates open at 4 p.m. on Friday with a Test ‘n’ Tune and two Gambler races. The Willis Racing Bike Gambler race and a combo no box/box Gambler race will rotate with the scheduled Test ‘n’ Tune.

Gates open at 7 a.m. on Saturday for a day full of high-class competition as these contenders go head-to-head for a Wally during the NHRA.TV challenge. All class winners will receive their Wally for their respected class: Super Pro, Pro, VP Racing Lubricants Sportsman, Commercial Safe and Lock Super Pro Motorcycle and Ranken Technical College High School.

These racers have competed all season to rack up wins and points for a chance to represent WWT Raceway at the NHRA D3 Summit Racing Series Finals in Norwalk, Ohio Sept. 11-13. There will be 32 cars who will be chosen to represent WWT Raceway at the E.T. finals.

Along with the Wallys, the NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Dragster Challenge presents a special award to the winners of the following classes: Jr. Lightning, Jr. Thunder and Marine Coin Company Jr. Street.

This season also serves as the first time that the Marine Coin Company Jr. Street class or Ranken Technical College High School class have had the chance to run for a Wally at WWT Raceway. Also, for the last four races of the season, the High School class will now run both days of the weekend.
