July 28 — Samuel Rowling of Trenton, Illinois, won tonight’s final round of Ranken Technical College High School class eliminations over David Breuer of Fenton, Missouri.
Rowling’s pick-up went 17.03 sec. (on a 17.01 dial-in), 79.33 mph. Breuer’s lime green 1972 Dodge went 12.76 sec. (on a 12.70 dial-in), 104.19 mph.
Thanks to his win, Rowling now leads the High School point standings.
