Last Updated on February 27, 2026 by WWTR

MADISON, Ill. (May 24, 2025) – With perfect racing conditions for the opening weekend for the Nostalgia Drag Racing League (NDRL) Route 66 Rockabilly Rod Reunion Driven by KSHE-95 at World Wide Technology Raceway, the two-day was full of entertainment with everything from nostalgia nitro runs and marked the debut for Nostalgia Super Stock.

Two exhibition match races kept the crowds entertained when Mike Taylor’s Blue Collar Top Fuel dragster went head-to-head with Levi Vandenberg in the Beedy & Malloy nitro front engine dragster. The nitro-powered action continued when Greg “Jake” Jacobsmeyer in the All-Star Dodge Funny Car went against Levi Keenen’s Illinois Thunder Funny Car.

The opening weekend also served as the debut for the A & A Transmissions Nostalgia Super Stock in the NDRL. This class showed out with 34 racers to battle it out on the drag strip for their inaugural run in NDRL with TD Holland taking the win.

Racers and fans came out and showed their support for these nostalgic vehicles for a weekend full of vehicles ranging from gassers to nostalgic Funny Cars. The Belleville Gear Jammers added to this nostalgic event by hosting a car show that filled the lot with classic cars.

Congratulations to all our winners at the Route 66 Rockabilly Rod Reunion Driven by KSHE-95!
