Dear WWTR Drag Racers,
You are invited to join us in celebration of our 2023 Carl’s 4WD & Performance Center champions. The awards ceremony will be held in the World Wide Technology Driver’s Meeting Room, located in the oval track’s infield, on Saturday, March 9. Most of you are probably not familiar with the location. It is in the center of the oval infield off the garage/paddock area. This is a new event space, built to accommodate larger meeting space needs, such as our banquet.
New for this event, we will be incorporating a Practice Tree Race. We want to make this more than just your typical awards banquet — we want it to be fun for you, the racer. Additionally, we are going to use the Practice Tree Race as a fundraiser to help everyone with travel costs for the Division 3 ET Finals, which is moving to Norwalk, Ohio. We are planning to do a series of fundraiser activities throughout the 2024 season to help offset the larger costs that are incurred due to the further tow distance.
Practice Tree Race:
All entries will be cash only, day of the event.
$20/entry (max. of 4 entries).
$10 buy-back (inserted into Round 2).
All money generated by the Practice Tree Race will be split 50% to payout and 50% to an ET Finals Travel Fund.
Purse will be split: 70% winner, 20% runner up, and 5% semis.
ET Finals Travel Fund will be split amongst all racers traveling to represent WWTR at the D3 finals in Norwalk, Ohio.
Doors Open: 2 p.m.
Practice Tree time trials: 3 p.m.
Practice Tree eliminations: 4 p.m.
Dinner: 6 p.m.

Please dress casual, as you would if we were racing.
Banquet will include dinner, followed by awards. Cash bar will be available throughout both the Practice Tree Race and awards banquet. No outside alcohol is permitted on the premises.
We will be accepting serious nominations for special awards until February 1. Please submit your nominations to email@example.com. We will then have final voting. Award winners will be announced at the banquet.
