The VP Racing Lubricants Street Car No‑Time class at World Wide Technology Raceway delivered one of the most exciting seasons yet, since the inception of the class in 2014. With floating indexes, a Pro .400 tree, and razor‑thin competition, consistency and precision were everything.
The Ciborowski family is no stranger to championship‑level racing. Patriarch Mike “Hippy” Ciborowski, along with sons Keith and Mike, have long been known for their blazing‑fast Ford Mustangs and exceptional driving talent. Both Keith and Mike previously competed in the NMRA Pro Media touring series, where the family enjoyed tremendous success, earning championships and trophies along the way.
When Pro Media disbanded, it left a noticeable void for Kyle who had grown up at the racetrack. For Kyle, racing wasn’t simply a hobby—it was a passion. Now he was forced to find something new or a new place to race. It didn’t take long to realize the Ciborowski family could chase a championship in their own back yard. The VP Racing Lubricants No Time Series mirrored the rules and competitive spirit he knew so well.
Driving his blue 2001 Ford Mustang, powered by an RGR Coyote motor, GEN 3R supercharger, and Turbo 400 transmission, Kyle and his team had the car dialed right at the class‑limit 8.60 index, giving him a major advantage all season.
Despite missing the first race of the year, Kyle rebounded in incredible fashion
winning three consecutive races, earning two runner‑up finishes, and reaching the finals at the prestigious Wally race. Though he didn’t win the Wally, Kyle admitted afterwards, “Yes, it hurt tremendously to lose a Wally, but you just have to keep fighting and carry on.” In a season where cars were separated by thousandths of a second, Kyle’s consistency, tuning, and improved reaction times made the difference and secured the championship.
Kyle credits his family’s years of experience, particularly from their NMRA background, for giving him confidence in both the car and the process. But one area Kyle focused on improving was his reaction times. Throughout the season, he worked tirelessly on the Pro .400 tree, ultimately cutting nearly 40 numbers off his reaction times compared to prior years. It’s an achievement he is extremely proud of.
Championships are nothing new for Kyle. During his college years at Lindenwood University in St. Louis, Kyle was a competitive collegiate athlete in cheerleading, where he and his teammates captured three national championships. That experience taught him an invaluable lesson: teamwork wins championships, no matter the arena.
Kyle is quick to express his gratitude to those who made this season possible. His racing team is anchored by his father Mike and brother Keith. He would also like to thank his mother Amy, and his girlfriend Jenna Watson, for their unwavering support throughout the 2025 season.
Most importantly, Kyle wishes to acknowledge what he calls his divine intervention, his guardian angel, Kevin “Mouse” Ciborowski, who continuously is watching over him.
Kyle would also like to thank his 2025 corporate sponsor, HPJ Tuning of Belleville, Illinois, for their continued support.
World Wide Technology Raceway proudly congratulates Kyle Ciborowski, the 2025 VP Racing Lubricants Street Car Champion, on an outstanding season and on representing WWTR with excellence, determination, and class.
