WWT Raceway Marine Coin Company Junior Street Program
The NHRA Jr Street program ignites the excitement of drag racing for 13-16-year-olds, offering a thrilling and affordable entry point into the sport. This exhilarating program allows young racers to experience the adrenaline rush of drag racing in a safe, controlled environment, alongside an approved co-driver in a street-legal vehicle. Racing up to 9-seconds in the 1/8th mile, participants will not only satisfy their need for speed but also learn the importance of vehicle safety and regulations.
It’s more than just racing; it’s an opportunity for invaluable lessons, family bonding, and the beginning of potentially lifelong passions and careers in motorsports. So, rev your engines, young racers, and prepare for the ride of your life with the NHRA Jr. Street.
Marine Coin Company will be the primary sponsor for the 2025 season. For each Jr. Street race, we are going to have 1 gram (g) of GOLD for the class winner and 1 ounce (oz) of SILVER for the runner up. What other class can you go run that is going to pay in valuable metals like GOLD and SILVER??? This is a very exciting opportunity for kids to get interested in drag racing, while also having the opportunity to win something that could be worth a whole lot down the road.
All competitors need to undergo the NHRA license process prior to competing in any “competition” events. We will offer a chance for licensing and testing for Junior Street at all Test ‘n’ Tune nights.
