The staff and management of World Wide Technology Raceway wishes to express our sincere condolences to the family of Steve Petroff. Steve, the owner of Petroff Trucking, was a successful local businessman and a tremendous supporter our race track.

“Through the years Steve Petroff and his entire family have been very helpful to me as we reopened and built this venue to what it is today,” said Curtis Francois, owner and CEO of World Wide Technology Raceway. “As we’ve built tracks, improved roadways or expanded parking lots, Steve always has been there to help and took great pride in being a supporter of the track. His loss will be felt not only by those closest to him, but throughout the southwest Illinois business community. He was a good man and he will be missed.”
