Santa Ana, California (August 30, 2022) — The Holley NMRA Ford Nationals Series will celebrate a quarter-century of the fastest Fords by kicking off its 2023 event season in a new location, in addition to returning to five familiar facilities. Along the way, several special features and celebrations are planned to mark the occasion.
“From kicking off our silver anniversary season by returning to Orlando Speed World, where we can offer automotive excitement on the drag strip and beyond, to the season finale at Beech Bend Raceway, the 2023 NMRA schedule is action-packed from start to finish,” said Holley NMRA Ford Nationals General Manager and National Event Director Rollie Miller. ”Putting on Ford races for this many years is a milestone worth celebrating, and we don’t plan on taking our foot off the gas any time soon.”
After kicking off the season in Orlando at the 29th annual Spring Break Shootout from March 2-5, 2023, NMRA will join forces with NMCA for the 15th annual NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals at Rockingham Dragway for the second time from April 13-16. The dual event theme continues as both series will run together for the 18th time at the NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing in Madison, Illinois, from May 4-7. From June 8-11, the storied 23rd annual Ford Performance Nationals returns to Norwalk, Ohio. Then the two series combine again in Martin, Michigan, at the 3rd Annual NMRA/NMCA Power Festival from July 20-23. Finally, the season wraps up with the Ford event of the year, as the 24th annual NMRA World Finals + Holley Ford Fest heads to Bowling Green, Kentucky, from September 28 through October 1.
“Embarking on a milestone season, we aren’t ready to rest on our laurels,” said Steve Wolcott, President and CEO of NMRA. “As we close out a successful 2022 campaign, we already are eagerly anticipating the celebration of 25 years of all-Ford drag racing with new venues, more special features, and an enduring dedication to putting on the best show for our competitors and fans.”
With a mix of championship drag racing, index classes, street-car action, a huge car show, and a massive manufacturer’s midway, the Holley NMRA Ford Nationals offers must-see events for Ford fans across the country.
