Dylan Kagy of Granite City, Illinois, defeated Sam Rowling of Trenton, Illinois, in the final round of eliminations in the Ranken Technical College High School class on June 2 at WWTR.
Both drivers fouled (“red-lit”) on the starting line and also broke out at the finish line. Kagy’s 2011 Dodge Hemi ran 14.103 sec./100.31 mph in the quarter mile.
