World Wide Technology Raceway’s 2021 ET bracket drag racing series kicked off on Saturday, April 17. The 2021 season of the Carl’s 4WD & Performance ET Bracket Series features many exciting upgrades and bonuses for racers.

  • The 10-race series is paired so that each participant gets two points races from one weekend trip to the track.
  • Illinois South Tourism is sponsoring a traveler’s bonus: $100 class winner, $50 class runner-up for competitors traveling in excess of 120 miles to the track.
  • Guaranteed winner’s purses for each class: $1,500 for Super Pro, $800 for Pro, $300 for Sportsman and $300 for Motorcycle.
  • Progressive points fund: The pot grows as more racers enter.
  • Top 8 Shootout during the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series Midwest Nationals national event: The top eight racers in points in the Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Motorcycle and Jr. Dragster classes will compete in a special event during the NHRA Midwest Nationals.
  • Midwest ET All-Star Shootouts (1/8-mile drags, possible $5,000 to win) on April 17, May 22, June 26, July 31, September 11. Come for the ET Bracket Series, stay for the All-Star Shootouts.

APRIL

17 (Saturday) – ET Bracket Series presented by Carl’s 4WD & Performance race No. 1 (daytime); JEGS Super Quick qualifying. $5k Midwest E.T. All-Star Series race No. 1 (nighttime).

18 (Sunday) — ET Bracket Series presented by Carl’s 4WD & Performance race No. 2 (daytime); JEGS Super Quick eliminations.

MAY

22 (Saturday) – ET Bracket Series presented by Carl’s 4WD & Performance race No. 3 (daytime); $5k Midwest E.T. All-Star Series (nighttime).

23 (Sunday) – ET Bracket Series presented by Carl’s 4WD & Performance race No. 4 (daytime).

JUNE

26 (Saturday) – ET Bracket Series presented by Carl’s 4WD & Performance race No. 5 (daytime); $5k Midwest E.T. All-Star Series (nighttime).

27 (Sunday) – ET Bracket Series presented by Carl’s 4WD & Performance race No. 6 (daytime).

JULY

31 (Saturday) – ET Bracket Series presented by Carl’s 4WD & Performance race No. 7 (daytime); Midwest E.T. All-Star Series (nighttime).

AUGUST

1 (Sunday) – ET Bracket Series presented by Carl’s 4WD & Performance race No. 8 (daytime).

SEPTEMBER

11 (Saturday) – ET Bracket Series presented by Carl’s 4WD & Performance race No. 9, NHRA.tv Challenge (daytime); Midwest E.T. All-Star Series (nighttime).

12 (Sunday) – ET Bracket Series presented by Carl’s 4WD & Performance race No. 10, NHRA King of the Track, NHRA JDRL Challenge (daytime).

Defending champions from the 2020 Carl’s 4WD & Performance series: Kevin Prior (Super Pro), Clay Tyler (Pro), Aaron Hagen (Sportsman), Scott Leonard (Motorcycle), Sarah Stewart (Jr. Dragster Thunder), Sam Stewart (Jr. Dragster Lightning) and Amanda Miller (High School).
