Carl’s Four Wheel Drive and Performance Center Bracket Series Race 3 and 4 Results

The NHRA Wally race is clearly one of the WWT Raceway racers favorite races of the year. 2026 was certainly no exception. Mother Nature was trying to make her presence known with some early Saturday morning showers, but no one could dampen the enthusiasm that racers felt for the 75th Anniversary Edition Wally. Very few have them, everyone covets them, and wow did people travel from near and far to get their chance at one… Add to that, the Willis Racing MX Shootout and Bracket Race 3-4 of the Carl’s 4WD and Performance Centers Series and we were in for one heck of a weekend at WWT Raceway…

SUPER PRO:

The Super Pro Wally Race on Saturday came down to the battle of the champions. Former Super Pro Champion Rod Schaeffer was on fire. Rod was coming off a big weekend last weekend at the Twin 50’s race in which he had gone deep and got onto the ladder twice, making money in a stellar performance. Last week Rod had laid down back-to-back .000 trip zip reaction times in that performance and as always, dead on his dial. The old Hot Rod is back. Rod’s opponent in Saturdays Wally race was none other than 2025 WWT Raceway Super Pro Champion Brian Spillars. The finals came down to a teen light by Schaeffer following that up with a dead on the dial run dragging the brake to secure Schaeffer’s second Wally of his career having won his first in 2013. Congratulations to Hot Rod Schaeffer on his 2026 75th Anniversary Wally.

Sunday’s Super Pro race found perennial favorite and former Twin 50’s winner Angelo Belosi versus long time Pro Class standout Ronnie Beach. The finals came down to nearly identical reaction times with Belosi’s dead on three defeating Beach’s dead on six with both touching the brakes at the finish line to complete their nearly perfect dial in’s. Great racing by both racers.

PRO CLASS:

Saturday’s Pro Class Wally race always brings out the best in everyone. No one, however, usually stands out as much as our own Clay Tyler. Clay had four Wallys already at home on his fireplace, well guess what, Clay now has five. Clay was behind off the starting line with Beach putting up a .002 light, but Beache’s car ran well off the dial in allowing Tyler to drive around Beach in his 1961 Corvair Wagon to take home that sweet fifth Wally. Congratulations Clay Tyler on this monumental achievement.

Sunday’s race saw veteran racer Mike “Tuff Paw” Eggleston, who is known for his championship dragster, finding the winners circle in his 1966 Nova. Mike defeated Ron Beach, taking advantage of a slight starting line advantage and pushing Beach to break out by five thousandths at the finish line. Beach was on a roll all weekend, but the former Champion Eggleston pulled the tricks out of his sleeve and took home the win. Congratulations Mike and Tammy.

VP RACING LUBRICANTS SPORTSMAN CLASS:

The VP Racing Lubricants Sportsman Class 2025 Champion Steve Zeuner has been on a terror to start the 2026 Season. Steve’s round record for 2026 across several tracks is 41-11. Steve has been to five finals in 2026 and has won four of them. After winning his first track championship in 2025, Steve now has his first NHRA Wally to go with it. To say Steve is on a roll is an understatement. In the finals for the Wally, Steve’s opponent was familiar. Joe Renaud and Steve met in three separate finals this year with Steve winning all three. Steve took advantage of a .002 reaction time to secure the Wally. Renald was .073 on the tree with the double break out win going to Zeuner. Congratulations Steve on your first NHRA Wally.

Sunday’s VP Racing Lubricants Sportsman race saw Joe Renaud get his revenge from Saturday’s Wally loss. Ponytail Joe raced Abby Burrow in the finals and Joe took advantage of his slight starting line advantage .078 to a .087 to secure the double break out win.

WILLIS RACING MX SHOOTOUT

The Willis Racing MX Shootout featured a huge field of racers who traveled from all over to get to this race. Yan Levit found himself in the finals against multiple time champions all over the country Joe Klemme. In a great race, Levit took advantage of a .010 reaction time and dead on nine for a 19 package to defeat Klemme’s perfect .000 reaction time. What a great race. Great job guys and thank you to Charles Willis and Janie Palm for your support.

COMMERCIAL SAFE AND LOCK SUPER PRO MX

The Willis Shootout brought a very heavy contingent of Super Pro Motorcycles to WWT Raceway all competing for the Wally. The field was so big, in fact, it took seven rounds for Yan Levit and Kyle Carter to reach the finals. Yan on a 2017 Suzuki took advantage of the .022 reaction time advantage to blister Kyle Carter on the starting line and had Kyle covered enough at the finish line to scrub off two tenths and 15 mph and still secure the victory. Congratulations to Yan Levit on your NHRA Wally.

Sunday’s Commercial Lock and Safe Super Pro MX was a battle of two long time WWT Raceway racers. Janie Palm and Mark Abrams found themselves battling in the sixth-round final. Janie was behind .011 off the starting line but put her bike within three numbers of the dial in to steal the victory from a better reaction time having Abrams but Abrams bike was four numbers slow at the finish line. Congratulations to Janie Palm on your Sunday victory.

E-TICKET MOTORSPORTS JUNIOR THUNDER

The E-Ticket Motorsports Junior Thunder race for the coveted NHRA 75th Anniversary Wally was an all Bogacki affair this year. The two Bogacki boys, Gary and Jack, used steady and consistent driving all day to slowly mow their way through the tough WWT Raceway field. In the end, Gary triumphed over his brother Jack, who was .007 red in the final round. Gary had a third-round win over champion Brayden Hearn, in which both red lighted but Gary was just a little less red than Brayden. When it is your day, it is your day. Congratulations to Wally winner Gary Bogacki.

Sunday’s E-Ticket Motorsports Junior Thunder race saw Greyson Hopley take advantage of a large reaction time lead and go down and get on the brakes and scrub off six numbers to secure the win over Jack Bogacki. Congratulations to Hopley on your victory and congratulations to Bogacki for making back-to-back finals. Great job kids.

E-TICKET MOTORSPORTS JUNIOR LIGHTNING

The E-Ticket Motorsports Junior Lightning finals came down to Isabella Hammack versus Gary Bogacki. Isabella put down a strong .027 reaction time and ran her junior dragster a 7.95 on a 7.91 dial in on the brakes to defeat Bogacki. Bogacki, for his part, knew he was behind off the starting line and pushed Isabella super hard on the finish line breaking out by two numbers in a great race. Congratulations to Isabella on your 2026 Wally.

Sunday’s E-Ticket Motorsports Junior Lightning race saw Karson Elkins pick up the win over Michael Mudro. Elkins, who won the race on the starting line with Mudro’s red light, pushed the junior dragster to a 7.87 breakout win on the 7.90 dial in. Great job kids.

HIGH SCHOOL

High School saw the return of Cohen Hale, in his beautiful 1998 Chevrolet Camaro, defeat Gavin Meyers. Cohen was .040 on the starting line and ran an 11.83 on his 11.76 dial in dragging the brakes to secure his Wally. Congratulations to multiple time Champion Cohen Hale.

Sunday’s High School class race saw Timothy Hearn paired up against multiple time champion in junior dragster Sarah Stewart. Hearn was behind as he left the starting line but closer to the dial down track as he ran a 13.70 on his 13.65 dial in to secure the win over Stewart. Congratulations to the Hearn racing family on winning.
