World Wide Technology Raceway presents the Carl’s Four-Wheel Drive and Performance Centers final two bracket races for 2025. This is it for the 2025 WWTR points championship. The racing will be hot and the competition will be fierce at WWTR with all the drivers going for their last chance at a Championship in the 2025 season!!!
In Super Pro, Scott Offermann in his dragster have been on fire in 2025 gaining more than 61 round points in 4 of his 8 WWTR 2025 races this year. Scott will be trying to hold off Brian Spillars in his beautifully prepared black dragster. Brian has been on fire since installing the Gary Stinnett motor in his dragster and finding himself at the fast end of the class running in the 4.50 range. Spillars, who at the Million Dollar race in 2024, won the $2,500 prize for being the first racer of the year to lay down a perfect run, trip 000 dead 0 is sure to be tough as he is a top-notch racer. There is going to be some hard-core Super Pro racing this weekend especially with Brian Cook, Jon Tignor, Tommy Barbero, Angelo Belosi, Nancy Conn and Dennis Pearson all within striking distance of the leaders. Better hold on tight St. Louis with your Super Pro class all being this locked together.
Pro Class, long time racer and winner Tommy Barbero is carrying a three round 31-point lead into the final two races over 2024 Champion Danny Ratulowski and Danny’s father, multiple time Champion, John Ratulowski who is 32 points behind. Pro class bottom bulb racing has always been the specialty of the Ratulowski clan, and you can bet that they will be coming with full force three strong after Barbero. Tommy is used to the pressure as he travels the Midwest chasing his big dollar race dreams with his racing partners the McKague brothers. Jesse Garcia, Mike Ratulowski, Janie Palm and David Scheer are all within striking distance. This is sure to be an old west style shootout with a huge prize awaiting the winner. In the smoke at the end of that 10thbracket race, we will know who our 2025 Pro Champion will be!!!
Sportsman Class finds four-time Sportsman Champion Craig Powell in familiar territory. Leading the points going into the final races. Jason Phillips always describes Craig Powell as a Sportsman racer who is reaching legendary status in the territory of Alan Mollett, Jim Bouchckaert and other greats who have come before him. Craig has a four-round lead over Luke Beach with Steve Zeuner, Mike Davis, Brad Kaemmerer and James Bouckaert all within striking distance. Hey, don’t say that it cannot be done… Memories of Brad Kaemmerer coming back from 100 plus points down in the 20teens comes to mind. It will be a great battle as always in the Sportsman Class.
2025 Commercial Safe and Lock Super Pro Bike class is one of the tightest races we have in 2025. Darnell Dickerson is leading perennial favorite Janie Palm by just 10 points!!! That is just one round. One red light, one break out, one heartbeat away from a championship. Scott Leonard, Phillip Humphrey, DeAndre Lewis are all right there for ready to swing in and claim a championship at any moment should one of the favorites slip up one bit. Going to be a great finish…
Junior Thunder is tied between Brayden Hearn and Damon Haberberger. Both racers are knotted up at 254 points. Can not wait to see how this one turns out.
Junior Lightning finds Sarah Stewart right where she finished up her 2024 season, in first place. This time Sarah is carrying a 33-point lead into her final race in the Jr. Dragster. Sarah has Karson Elkins nipping at her heals as well as Jaxin Reed, Michael Murdro and always tough Cohen Hale. Can the champion Sarah Stewart do her usual thing and pull out yet another championship for the 2025 season? Don’t know but you better not bet against that Stewart family. Good luck kids!!!
2025 Marine Coin Junior Street Saturday is becoming a run-away affair for young Jacob Phillips. Piloting the White Mustang that made his father Jason a Super Star, Jacob has a commanding 43-point lead going into the final Saturday race against Leila Thomas. Braxton Pettus and Lilly Busken and Tyler Kuehnel will be doing their best to push the young Phillips driver to do his best to secure this championship.
Lots of great racing, great weather, championship battles, this is going to be a great weekend here at WWT Raceway. Come out and join us for all the fun and excitement!!!
