Brittany’s Final Run at the “Palace of Power”

MADISON, Ill. (Sept. 24, 2025) – Twelve years ago a rookie named Brittany Force stepped onto the biggest stage in drag racing when she debuted for her father’s team to compete in some of the fastest racing in the world. Over a decade later, this star has set countless records and has won multiple World Championships in NHRA.

On Sept. 27, 2013, this rising star took her Top Fuel dragster down the NHRA-sanctioned drag strip at World Wide Technology Raceway for the first time. After her second-best qualifying of the season, fifth, Force made it to the quarter finals where she was defeated by Khalid alBalooshi.

Force went on to finish 13th overall in her rookie season as the first Top Fuel driver in John Force Racing’s history. As each year progressed, so did the competition Force put out. It only took her five seasons to move from a rookie to the 2017 Top Fuel World Champion.

Success became synonymous with the name Force in Top Fuel as this champion continued to set records, earn No.1 qualifiers and win another championship in 2022. Her 2017 championship made history as she became the second woman to ever win a championship in a nitro category, the only other being Shirley Muldowney in 1982.

Force has continued to set and break records in her 13-year career with John Force Racing. In 2025 alone, she has set nine Top Speeds for Top Fuel at nine different tracks and even has set the fastest speed in Top Fuel history in Indianapolis with a speed of 343.51 mph.

On her way to her 2022 championship, Force set 16 track records, including at World Wide Technology Raceway. Her run at the NHRA Midwest Nationals clocked in at 338.43 mph and has yet to be broken for Top Fuel.

Force will put it all on the line this weekend to push ahead at the halfway mark in the NHRA Countdown to the Championships at the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals.

Come see Force’s final run at the “Palace of Power” on Sept. 26-28. Tickets are available at wwtraceway.com or by calling the ticket office at (618) 215-8888 ext. 1.
