AUG. 22: Carl’s 4WD & Performance ET Bracket Series points races Nos. 5 and 6

WWTR Carl’s 4WD & Performance ET Bracket Series points races Nos. 5 and 6

Saturday, August 22, 2020

WWTR’s 2020 Carl’s 4WD & Performance ET Bracket Series will count a racer’s best five (5) of six (6) races toward the overall championship.

Due to the rained-out August 8 event, we will complete two races on Saturday, August 22. We will start with the make-up of Race No. 5 in the morning, then continue with Race No. 6 in the evening. New entries will be accepted to Race No. 5 as we never got to the first round of eliminations in any category. Tech cards from the August 8 event automatically will be transferred towards the morning race on August 22. We will do one (1) time trial and go straight into eliminations for the first event so we can get both done in a timely manner. Those competitors unfortunate enough to lose in the first, second or third rounds of the first race will receive a time trial run while we are completing the later rounds of eliminations of the first event.

Your name will be on the gate list. At the main ticket gate, spectator, crew, and racers will be expected to exchange their wristband from August 8 for a new wristband. New tech cards will be available at the Bud Trailer (your name will be on a list from the August 8 postponement). New entries will be accepted to Race No. 5 as we didn’t make it to first round of eliminations. Please note: Race No. 6 entries will be full price at the trailer as the admission portion for the day is carrying over from the August 8 postponement.

Anyone who purchased the August 8 event via the Pit Pay app automatically will be transferred to the August 22 event. You should receive a notification from the app this week and will simply have to sign the waiver for the new event, no extra charge.

Please note: Due to the shortened season due to the pandemic, we are still holding Sunday, August 23, as a possible make-up date. With two remaining events to complete in the 2020 bracket season, we want every chance possible to try to complete both events and give everyone the full six race series. We have had an un-naturally wet summer (July was the fourth-wettest on record), so we want to keep Sunday just in case so that we can try our best to complete the full six-race season.
