April 15: Second round of VP Lubricants Super Saturday

“Week No. 2 of the new version of the VP Racing Lubricants Super Saturday is back. This program is designed for “street cars” that are not your typical bracket racer, with an included $5k potential to win 1/8th mile bracket race and Phil’s Plumbing Service and Repair Street Bike ET for all the street bikes in the St. Louis region. Open TNT is also available for those that do not fit into a class, you will be run once per rotation. All classes will have a payout, see Super Saturday page of www.wwtraceway.com/racers  for payout information.  We had a good start last weekend; we hope to see more of you at the track this Saturday!” — Brad

There will be no overnight camping. Pits must be cleared after Saturday’s races to make way for Sunday’s event.

We are making one change to the ingress procedure.

 

Entry Procedure:

All Participants and Spectators will enter Gate 1 (off Rte. 203).  Please follow the signage and proceed North and turn in at by the Maintenance building.  The line will then double back towards the main ticking gate.

 

PIT PAY EXPRESS ENTRY: You will follow the same route above.  Once you get to the Front Entrance guard shack, let the guard shack know you and your passengers have purchased your entry on Pit Pay. Everyone in the vehicle MUST have purchased via the Pit Pay app to use expedited process.  You will be directed to the far-left lane for an expedited entry to the facility.

 

Schedule:

Gates Open:                            9 AM

Fuel Sales:                               9 AM – 2 PM

Concessions Hours:                9 AM – 3:30 PM

Tech Inspection:                     9:30 AM

Time Trials:                             10 AM (2 per class)

Run Order: TNT, Box, S/MX, 10.0 Index, 11.0 Index, 12.0 Index, Stick Shift

First Round Eliminations:       12:30 PM (appx)

Final Rounds:                          5 PM (subject to change)

Fees:

1/8th Mile Box: $125 Buyback: $70 (1st OR 2nd Round)

Index, Stick Shift, Street M/X, TNT: $60

Crew/Spectator: $25

 

Tech Cards:

All tech cards will be sold at the gate when you come in.

 

Chip Draw (Index Classes):

Chip Draw will take place immediately following TT2 and subsequent elimination rounds behind the grandstands on the PIT SIDE of the dragstrip by the tower.  Please listen to the PA, if you are not at the Chip Draw, you will be assumed broken and cannot compete.

Time Slips:

All Time Slips are digital at WWT Raceway. Please visit the App Store or Google Play and download the LATEST Version of WWT Slips.  PLEASE NOTE: There is a mandatory update in February 2023.  App MUST be V2.xx or later to work!  The save slip feature at the bottom is no longer in the app as both Android and iPhone now easily support screenshots.
