2022 RANKEN TECHNICAL COLLEGE presents HIGH SCHOOL class at WWTR

The High School class will be conduced as part of the Wide Open Wednesday program. NHRA Jr. Street dates will be run on the same dates as High School.

Rules:

  • TRUstart.
  • .500 full tree.
  • Street-legal vehicle.
  • 1/4-mile track.
  • 00 seconds and slower.
  • In the event a race is canceled prior to the completion of the first round of eliminations, that race will be removed from the championship point standings (as if it never happened).
  • Lane assignments will be announced at the driver meeting. You can also obtain lane assignments by contacting Paul Hagen.

NORTH CETRAL DIVISION 3 E.T. FINALS

Two drivers will represent WWTR in the High School class at the North Central Division 3 E.T. Finals. High school class representative must be enrolled in high school or be a 2022 graduate. The student and/or their car may not be entered in any other class at the E.T. Finals.

 

TAYLOR’S AUTO SALVAGE BONUS

Taylor’s Auto Salvage is sponsoring WWTR’s Ranken Technical College High School class with a year-end bonus for the top five finishers. Winner: $200. Runner-up: $125. Third place: $75. Fourth and fifth place: $50.

 

GENERAL NIGHTLY SCHEDULE (subject to change)

5 p.m. – gates open.

6 p.m. – Racing begins.

10:30 p.m. – Staging lanes closed.

11 p.m. – Event concludes.

11:30 p.m. – Pit sweep by Madison P.D.

April 20 – High School, Jr. Street, Electric Car.

May 4 – High School, Jr. Street.

May 18 – High School, Junior Street, Electric Car.

June 29 – High School, Jr. Street, Electric Car.

July 6 – High School, Jr. Street.

July 27 – High School, Jr. Street, Electric Car.

August 10 – High School, Jr. Street.

August 31 – High School finale, Jr. Street finale.

ADMISSION AND ENTRY FEES:

Points membership — $75 (includes car and driver entry to all High School and Electric Car races).

Single-race tech card — $40 (only necessary if not enrolled in track points).

Spectator or crew pass — $18.

Children 12 and under – Free.
