10th ANNUAL BOMMARITO AUTOMOTIVE GROUP 500 IS BACK IN PRIME TIME FOR 2026

Last Updated on September 16, 2025 by WWTR

MADISON, Ill. (Sept. 16, 2025) – The NTT INDYCAR Series announced today the 2026 season schedule will feature the 10th annual Bommarito Automotive Group 500 presented by Axalta and Valvoline June 6-7, 2026, at World Wide Technology Raceway. The event will be televised again in prime time on FOX.

Coming off a successful prime time televised event in 2025, the series will return to the egg-shaped oval in Madison for another spectacular weekend in early June. Since making the switch from August to June, the event will continue to be the first oval after the Indianapolis 500.

For 2026, the June event falls just two weeks after the Indianapolis 500 and a week after the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear, creating three consecutive weekends full of INDYCAR action.

The 1.25-mile oval continues to be a fan favorite on the calendar and provide fans with non-stop on and off-track entertainment. The 2025 race included a track record with 14 different race leaders, and the 254 on-track passes for position tied for the event record.

The 2025 race weekend included everything from high-speed action to musical performances from ‘90s rock legends with the Celebration of Route 66 Festival. WWT Raceway and Discover Downstate Tourism are currently developing plans to expand the festival for the 2026 event to coincide with the 100th anniversary of Route 66.

The 2026 June date is a week earlier than the 2025 running but now occupies a weekend traditionally held for major events at the Madison, Ill. oval. The 2026 season will air for the second consecutive season on FOX with INDYCAR Radio continuing to provide audio coverage via SiriusXM Channel 218.

Renewals for the 10th annual Bommarito Automotive Group 500 are open, and ticket deposits are now available for first time attendees on TIXR.com or by calling the ticket office at (618) 215-8888 ext. 1.
